It has been forever since I sat down and drew. Saturday afternoon I read some of a great book—The Design of Everyday Things by Donald Norman — and I drew for a bit. I used a book on bonsai as reference and drew the above Japanese Black Pine. After completing the cross hatch version I wanted to experiment with simplifying and moved to a brush pen. I’ve got to force myself to draw more often.
